Since September 2021, Rabbi Karol has served on the Board of American Friends of the Parents Circle Families Forum (AF-PCFF), a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization made up of more than 850 bereaved families. These families share the unimaginable experience of having lost a close loved one to the ongoing conflict. In the face of profound grief, they have chosen a path rooted in dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation.
Last month, the Parents Circle Families Forum was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. This nomination is a powerful and meaningful recognition of the organization’s extraordinary work. PCFF is made up of everyday people who, despite devastating personal loss, continue to choose hope, humanity, and the belief that peace is possible.
Rabbi Karol is proud to share this moment of recognition with the CRS community and invites you to learn more about the work of the Parents Circle Families Forum. She would also be glad to speak with anyone interested in hearing more about the organization and its mission.
