1. Why should I join Congregation Rodeph Sholom?
Our Clergy, members and staff are always excited to welcome new members into the Rodeph Sholom community. Rodeph Sholom offers a wide variety of educational, social, and spiritual programming throughout the year designed to engage and be meaningful to our diverse membership.
2. I’d like to join, but don’t know anyone at Congregation Rodeph Sholom.
CRS offers many opportunities for new members to meet other members. Several new member events and a host of other synagogue-wide events are held during the year. Our members would love to welcome you to the CRS community and connect you with a member through our CRS Connections program.
3. Why should I join now as a new parent?
It is never too early to be part of a Jewish community. Our Young Families programming is geared to those with children aged seven and younger. Worship opportunities for families with children of all ages are available every Saturday morning. Read here about our warm and inviting children’s services.
4. My kids are grown. What does Rodeph Sholom have for me?
Rodeph Sholom focuses on community building with many adult- oriented experiences including Adult Education seminars, leadership opportunities, social action programs, and ritual activities and services. The synagogue strives to enhance your connection with other members at all stages of life and provide an opportunity for spiritual fulfillment. See our full calendar of events.
5. What are the benefits of joining Congregation Rodeph Sholom?
CRS takes pride in the diversity and active involvement of our congregational family. Programs and services are offered throughout the week at various times of the day to accommodate congregants’ busy lifestyles. In addition to providing you with a place for prayer and counseling, membership at Rodeph Sholom instills a sense of belonging to a community.
6. What should I do next?
We welcome you to visit our synagogue. Shabbat services are at 6:00 pm on Friday and on Saturday services begin at 10:00 am in the Main Sanctuary and at 10:15 am in our Chapel. Worship opportunities for families with children of all ages are available every Saturday morning and are posted in our calendar.
