Information about Position:
A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A MEDICAL SECRETARY WHO WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONE’S LIFE!
This job requires an understanding of insurance and at least minimal billing experience. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: checking patients out, submitting claims to insurance companies electronically, surgical scheduling, answering the phone, checking insurance eligibility, coordinating care for patients and scheduling diagnostic testing. The ideal candidate would be available to work Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and some Fridays.
It would be helpful if you could include the following in your response:
What are the days and hours you are looking for? (monday, tuesday, etc. and how many hours)
What is your hourly salary requirement?
Are you comfortable collecting payments from patients?
Are you a fast typist?
